papers comprise an English translation of The Newspaper
Boy by Yang Kui and two introductory chapters. All
were written by J. Rebecca Liu, MD, in fulfillment
of the requirement for the degree of Bachelor of Arts
in East Asian Studies at Princeton University, 1987.
Prior to Princeton, Dr. Liu attended Phillips Academy
Exeter. After Princeton, she attended the Vanderbilt
University School of Medicine, and trained at Duke
Medical Center for her internship and residency. She
is currently Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics
and Gynecology, University of Michigan Medical Center,
Ann Arbor Michigan.
